Art for Commercial Projects and Interior Designers

Bret enjoys working with art consultants and interior designers to make the task of finding the perfect art for any project as simple and economic as possible. Please contact Bret with your project details for a quote. Significant discounts are available for all orders of 5 or more prints.

Photography Workshops

Bret offers several group photography workshops each year in stunning locations throughout the West. Many of his workshops include intensive digital darkroom instruction taught by an Adobe Certified Expert. Count on lots of time in the field learning to do and see, as Bret believes hands-on instruction is the best, and most fun, way to learn photography.

Private Guided Photo Excursions

There is no better way to maximize your time in Moab and ensure that you are in the right place at the right time than to book a half or full-day private guided photo excursion with Bret. All excursions are customized to fit your needs, interests and goals.

Bret Edge is a nature and adventure photographer in Moab, Utah. He’s married to Melissa, has a son named Jackson and two All-Terrain Pugs named Bierstadt and Petunia. He isn’t a morning person and doesn’t drink coffee, which makes it a struggle to get out of bed for a sunrise shoot. Sometimes the urge to stay in bed wins, but not often. He eats dark chocolate, drinks Hefeweizen and loves Chinese food – the Americanized kind, not the real stuff.

You may have seen Bret’s images in magazines such as Backpacker or Popular Photography, or in a calendar, advertising campaign or travel brochure. Maybe you saw them displayed on the walls of your doctor or financial planner’s office. Perhaps you’ve never seen them at all and you just happened to land here while surfing the web. Regardless of how you got here, we’re glad you’re here and we hope you'll stay for a bit.

Although Bret enjoys seeing his images in print, he’s happiest when helping others become better photographers. He accomplishes this while leading group workshops and private guided excursions in some of America’s most amazing locations. He develops iPhone apps and is a regular contributor on the NatureScapes and Outdoor Photo Gear websites. He is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. Bret uses Canon equipment on a Gitzo tripod with an Acratech ballhead and is proud to be sponsored by F-Stop Gear.

When he isn’t photographing, he’s usually wishing he was. Or he’s planning the next big trip. Or he’s teaching his son to love the outdoors. He might be hiking, backpacking, mountain biking or canyoneering. He swears he’s going to learn how to ski some day.

Bret is inspired by the work of Jack Dykinga, Art Wolfe, Tim Fitzharris and Eliot Porter, among others. Thank you for visiting and please enjoy your visit to Bret's website.
